CRT TVs don't use pixels and need to be calibrated to make sure your squares are square and circles are circular. - otherwise Mario might look like he's running downhill and Sonic might be collecting ovals instead of rings.

Ensuring proper convergence across the tube is CRITICAL in order to minimize rainbowing and improper color presentation.

Dialing this in WILL raise the perceived sharpness of your tube and provide the most uniform look possible color-wise.

Next, it's super important to calibrate the colors to make sure you're experiencing the game in its colorful glory exactly as the developers envisioned it.

We’ll professionally calibrate your tube according to long-established standards adhered to by media professionals the world over.

This will also ensure the electron guns wear down evenly over time - maximizing the useful life of your tube.

Lastly, we’ll use industry-standard calibration software to generate a 3D LUT custom-tailored to the specificities of your display which can be applied either via software or hardware such as the BlackMagic Micro Convertors. This allows us to maximize the contrast ratio for deep inky blacks as well as bringing your CRTs accuracy on par with the most accurate studio monitors used in professional broadcast and film studio environments.
